Friends and Fellowship Applique Group This applique group is designed for the experienced applique quilter who wants to learn more, do more and discover more about the art of applique. Class participants will have the opportunity to purchase original Mary Warner-Stone designs, as well as receive personalized instruction during each class. Learn the very basics of Needle Turn Hand Applique including the hidden applique stitch, how to turn points and curves. The techniques include block set up, prepare applique pieces and select color. Mary will demonstrate the tools best suited for hand applique. A basic knowledge of hand sewing is helpful but not necessary. Students are always pleasantly surprised at how much they learn from Mary's demonstrations and tips.
